Wooden Egg Cup – Gold or Bronze Leaf Japanese Lacquerware

A rounded wooden cup finished in gold leaf or bronze leaf, with the warm lustre of leaf against natural wood at the rim.

These wooden lacquerware items are carved from solid wood using a lathe, decorated using traditional lacquering techniques, and finished with a glass coating. The glass coating applied during the final finishing makes them easy to clean and maintain (dishwasher safe).
