A rice bowl in the Lacquer + Ceramic series, decorated with gold leaf. Special lacquer is applied to the ceramic surface, using lacquerware coating techniques to achieve expressions that pottery alone cannot. It is dishwasher-safe lacquerware.
Pottery and porcelain are types of ceramics, a general term for products made by firing inorganic materials in a kiln. This is a new ceramic series, and its colours are Majo Blue, Majo Green, Majo Rainbow and Tenmoku.
