YouTube API Services

Modern Japan Crafts uses an internal video publishing tool operated only by authorized 株式会社Echocrafts personnel. The tool uses YouTube API Services to upload company-owned videos and subtitle files to the company's YouTube channel and to read the processing and visibility status of those uploads.

Data accessed and purpose

By authorizing the tool, an authorized channel operator permits it to access YouTube account and channel data required for this workflow. This may include the authenticated channel identifier and name, uploads-playlist identifier, video identifiers, video titles and descriptions, durations, publication timestamps, processing status, privacy status, and caption-track information. The tool does not access unrelated private user content and is not offered to external users.

The tool uses Google OAuth 2.0 and requests the YouTube upload and account-management scopes needed to upload videos and captions and reconcile the company's own upload records.

Storage and sharing

OAuth access and refresh tokens are stored only on the authorized operator's local workstation. They are excluded from source control and are not sold, rented, or shared with unrelated third parties.

Locally stored YouTube API Data is used only to maintain the company's video-production and upload ledger. Data is refreshed from YouTube when the synchronization workflow runs. We do not use YouTube API Data for advertising, profiling, or unrelated derived metrics.

Google policies and revocation

Use of information received from YouTube API Services adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. YouTube API Services are also subject to the Google Privacy Policy and the YouTube Terms of Service.

Authorized operators can revoke the tool's access at any time through Google Account third-party connections.

Data deletion

Authorized operators may request deletion of locally stored OAuth credentials and cached YouTube API Data by emailing develop@echocraftsjp.com. After a verified request, locally stored credentials and cached API data associated with the requester will be deleted within 7 days, except where retention is required by law or necessary to protect against fraud or abuse.
